FARSONS’ BREWHOUSE
Resolve Consulting have been appointed as Health and Safety / Fire Safety consultants by Simonds Farsons Cisk plc for their new brewhouse with a project duration of approximately 24 months.
The following is an extract from a press release issued by Simonds Farsons Cisk plc in the Maltese newspapers:
Construction work on Farsons’ €14 million brewhouse project has commenced.
This phase consists of the construction of a new brewhouse, malt storage facilities, quality control laboratories, offices for the technical staff and a new water treatment plant.
The commissioning of the brewhouse is planned for 2012 while the water treatment plant will be operational the following year.
This is the third and final phase of a €40 million investment project in a new soft drinks plant, logistics centre and brewhouse with ancillary building and facilities. The first two projects commenced in 2005 and were completed in 2007.
As in the previous two projects, the current project will be implemented by a team consisting of members of the company’s management team headed by Farsons’ chief projects officer Paul Micallef, assisted by consultants.
Architecture Project prepared the plans and layouts for the brewhouse building.
General construction works will be carried out by Attard Bros and Mediterranean Technical Services Ltd are delivering the designs for the mechanical and electrical engineering systems. Resolve Consulting are responsible for fire, health and safety systems.
